The cakes in the Wedding Gallery are just a small selection to give ideas on what can be created. I have many more pictures at my cake studio in albums and books if you wish to book a cake consultation appointment with me to look through these.
Or you may already have pictures of cakes you have seen that you like. I am happy to look through your own ideas and see what we can come up with to personalise it for your wedding day. You are welcome to email your pictures to me so I can give ideas on pricing. Be sure to include the date of your wedding, cake flavours and fillings you maybe interested in having, Amount of guests that may attend your wedding so I can work out cake sizing that will work well for the amount of guests you wish to serve cake to. Or if you prefer you may like to bring your pictures with you if you are booking a cake consultation with me. So many beautiful cakes and styles to choose from and delicious cake flavours and fillings to make the inside of the cakes really moist and tasty. There is sure to be some cake flavours that will also appeal to people that may have dietary requirements. I love working with fresh flowers as they are a passion of mine. Fresh flowers and greenery suit so many of the more rustic and relaxed garden or winery theme weddings that are so popular today. For beauty and elegance you cannot beat the look of fresh flowers to adorn your cakes. Icing decorations are also popular and still look fantastic . Icing decorations can be kept for many years if stored in a dry area, not in a fridge.
If you wish to sample taste a particular cake flavour I offer a 5 inch round sample cake for $20.00. You can then take it home to enjoy with your family or friends. Please book this in at least 2 to 3 weeks before you require it.
Cake delivery and set up at your venue is offered if you require it . Or you are welcome to collect the cakes if you can take great care with them while you travel to your venue . Cake delivery and set up is $30.00 in the Christchurch area and a bit more if your venue is further away.
Ordering cakes well in advance of your wedding is advisable to avoid disappointment if I get booked up in advance.
